‘Sarzameen’ Teaser Drops: Gripping Kashmir Drama With Prithviraj, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan
Mumbai, June 30 – The much-awaited teaser for Sarzameen has officially been released, giving audiences a powerful first glimpse of the action-packed military drama set in the tense landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. Directed by Kayoze Irani, the film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in a commanding army officer role, alongside Kajol and debutant Ibrahim Ali Khan.
The teaser opens with sweeping visuals of Kashmir’s mountainous terrain, quickly moving into suspenseful scenes involving military operations, emotional confrontations, and a shadowy antagonist portrayed by Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan.
Kajol appears in a layered role, hinted to be both a grieving wife and a woman with her own secrets. While her dialogue is limited in the teaser, her intense expressions add emotional depth to the drama.
Prithviraj Sukumaran’s presence as a soldier carries weight, with visuals of combat training, moral dilemmas, and what appears to be a critical national mission.
The film is being produced by Dharma Productions and is scheduled for a theatrical release later this year. The teaser has already garnered over 2 million views within hours of release on YouTube.
“We’ve tried to capture both the human cost of conflict and the duty-bound courage of our soldiers,” said director Kayoze Irani in a press note.
