Mumbai - The Reserve Bank of India has set Sept. 30, 2025, as the deadline for online applications for 120 officer positions in Grade B across general, Department of Economic and Policy Research and Department of Statistics and Information Management cadres.
The RBI released the notification on Sept. 10, 2025, for direct recruitment of officers on probation in the specified streams, according to the official advertisement published on the bank's website. Applications opened on the same date and must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. Indian Standard Time on Tuesday.
The recruitment targets candidates with a bachelor's degree and at least 60 percent marks, or 50 percent for reserved categories, the RBI said in the notice. Selected candidates will undergo a three-phase process including Phase I and Phase II exams and an interview. Phase I is scheduled for Oct. 13, 2025, the bank stated.
An RBI spokesperson said in a statement: "Candidates are advised to apply online through the official portal at opportunities.rbi.org.in before the closing date to avoid any technical issues."
A two-day window for editing applications will follow the deadline, according to the notification. No further extensions were mentioned. The RBI handles the full recruitment process, and details on fees and eligibility are available in the published advertisement.
